WEXFORD – To introduce his staff and the state services they can provide, Rep. Rob Mercuri (R-Allegheny) will be hosting an open house on Thursday, May 20, from 4-6 p.m. at the district office, 5500 Brooktree Road, Suite 100, in Wexford. Residents are also welcome to visit the office during normal business hours.

To allow for social distancing, residents of the 28th District are asked to make an appointment to attend the open house by calling the district office at 412-369-2230.

“The pandemic prevented me from welcoming residents to an open house as soon as I would have liked to do so, but I’m grateful to have the opportunity to connect with people soon. Mainly, I want everyone to know that my staff and I are here to help with any state-related problems they’re facing, and I encourage people to reach out however they feel comfortable, whether that be by participating in the open house, calling or emailing,” Mercuri said.

Available services include assisting residents with PennDOT paperwork, driver’s license and vehicle registration applications and renewals; information and applications for senior citizen benefit programs, including Property Tax/Rent Rebate and PACE/PACENET prescription drug programs; securing birth and death certificates (photo identification required); organizing tours of the State Capitol; copies of legislation; and many others.

The 28th District covers part of northern Allegheny County and consists of the Township of Pine, Borough of Bradford Woods, Franklin Park Borough, Marshall Township and the Town of McCandless.
