– Rep. Rob Mercuri (R-Allegheny) announced today that he will be hosting the North Hills Community Job Fair on Thursday, March 24, from 4-7 p.m. at the RLA Learning and Conference Center located on 1170 Freeport Road in Marshall Township.
“This is a great opportunity for job seekers to meet with employers and speak with them about available opportunities,” Mercuri said. “I’m excited to help our talented constituents looking for new employment get a chance to connect with our great area businesses.”
Businesses are invited to host a table and welcome candidates for entry-level, full-time, part-time, contract and internship positions.
The event is free. Businesses interested in participating will need to RSVP by March 18 by calling Mercuri’s office at 412-369-2230 or emailing Tina Harper at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Students and job seekers of all ages, who wish to take part, do not need to RSVP. However, they should bring copies of their resumé and dress professionally.
Mercuri said his office staff will be on hand to provide information and assist with available state programs and services.
